Terms of Use

1. Educational Use

Medwize Academy is intended exclusively for educational and professional medical-learning purposes. All content supports exam preparation and self-study and must not be used for real-world patient-care decisions.

2. Account & Device Security

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Sharing login credentials is prohibited. Each account may be signed in on a limited number of devices at the same time, suspicious sign-ins may require re-verification, and administrator accounts may use two-factor authentication.

3. Subscriptions, Specialties & Payment

Access is sold per specialty — a subscription unlocks only the specialty and content it covers. Payments are submitted manually (e.g. via Qi / SuperQi) and your access is activated after your payment proof is reviewed and approved. Subscription access may not be shared, transferred, resold, or distributed, and payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Content Ownership

All PDFs, summaries, MCQs, flashcards, explanations, reference-book questions, images, videos, and learning materials remain the intellectual property of Medwize Academy. You may not:

• Redistribute, bulk-copy, or resell content.
• Publish or re-upload platform content elsewhere.
• Share premium content with non-subscribers.
• Use the content to build a competing product.

5. Content Availability & Changes

The platform is under continuous development. Study methods, chapters, books, and specialties may be added, updated, reordered, hidden, or marked "Coming Soon" at any time, and the order in which study methods appear may differ between specialties. A subscription grants access to a specialty as it exists during your subscription period; it is not a guarantee that any particular chapter, book, video, or feature will be available, unchanged, or released within that period.

6. Study Groups & Community Conduct

Study Groups, group chat, shared links, study missions, and group sessions are collaborative features. When using them you agree to:

• Behave respectfully — no harassment, hate speech, or spam.
• Not post or share copyrighted platform content, answers, or files in chats.
• Not share personal or sensitive information about yourself or others.
• Accept that groups and messages may be moderated, hidden, or removed if they violate these terms.

7. Your Notes, Annotations & Discussions

Private notes, PDF highlights and annotations, self-ratings, and question discussions are stored in your account. Private notes and annotations are visible only to you; question comments are visible to other users and to administrators. When posting a comment you agree to:

• Keep it relevant, respectful, and free of spam or external links.
• Not reproduce full questions, answers, or explanations from other sources.
• Accept that comments may be edited, hidden, or removed by moderators.
• Understand that your private notes and annotations are deleted with your account.

8. Content Protection & Traceability

Question stems, answers, and explanations are delivered under access controls, per-account limits, and traceable watermarking. Attempting to bulk-collect content — by scripting, automating, mass-revealing answers, screen-scraping, or recording — is a breach of these terms and may be traced back to the account it originated from. Protective measures may throttle, degrade, or block access automatically.

9. Videos & Third-Party Embeds

Some lessons are delivered as embedded videos hosted on third-party services (for example YouTube). Playing them is subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy, and their availability is outside our control. Downloading, re-uploading, or redistributing these videos is prohibited.

10. Referral Program

You can earn free subscription time by referring colleagues with your referral code. Rewards are granted only for genuine referrals that lead to approved subscriptions and real platform use. The following are prohibited and may cause rewards to be withheld, reversed, or your account restricted:

• Referring yourself or your own additional accounts.
• Creating fake or duplicate accounts.
• Buying, selling, or spamming referral codes.
• Any attempt to game the rewards system.

11. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Unauthorized access or subscription-bypass attempts.
• API abuse, automated scraping, or mass downloading of content.
• Reverse engineering or manipulating requests.
• Circumventing access controls or exploiting bugs and vulnerabilities.
• Sharing, reselling, or distributing your subscription access.

12. Security Monitoring

The platform automatically monitors activity to detect abuse, fraud, automated access, credential sharing, and violations of these terms. Detected violations may trigger automatic protective actions.

13. Enforcement

Accounts involved in violations may be restricted, suspended, or permanently blocked depending on severity. Subscription access or referral rewards obtained through abuse may be revoked without refund.

14. Notifications & Renewal Reminders

The platform sends account notices — subscription activation, a reminder when less than 24 hours of access remain, security alerts, and replies to your reports — through the in-app notification bell and by email to the address on your account. These reminders are a courtesy, not a guarantee: keeping your email address current and renewing on time remain your responsibility. Study reminders and daily progress emails can be turned off in Settings; essential account and security notices cannot.

15. Your Data

Deleting your account permanently removes your data — including your progress, notes, annotations, ratings, and group membership — and cannot be undone.

16. Medical Disclaimer

All content is provided for educational and exam-preparation purposes only. It is not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose, treat, or make clinical decisions for real patients. Always rely on qualified supervision and official guidelines in clinical practice.

17. Updates

These Terms of Use may be updated periodically as the platform evolves. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
